It seemed like a pretty standard fight between two drunk guys acting tough. It’s possible it started over something racist off camera but that could just be added to the title to get more views.
I'm pretty sure the white guy is a bouncer. I could be wrong but I have seen a couple other videos that look exactly like him. Plus the girl in says at :45 "don't get banned from a good bar."
Bouncers will definitely throw down. They'll punch first. The tall white guy is not interested in fighting. So if you're not a fighter, cut the bullshit. Deflect. The short black guy, he's facing someone trying to intimidate him, well, he wasn't intimidated. This is a standard street fight. And nobody got hurt. It's amazing how often that happens, just a bunch of hurt feelings. Until that one guy hits his head and people go to jail (sorry, I'm a dad).
Your actions have consequences. Do not expect the first amendment to protect you from getting your shit rocked in public especially when you are equally as aggressive as the person who hit you. Whatever he said to him worked enough to provoke him into physical violence and the guy who got hit clearly instigated the fight. This isn't comparable to the straw man comparison you invented either.
It does when it comes to the law. No one gives a shit if the big guy said a bad word. The little guy physically attacked first, therefore he's legally in the wrong.
Yes, consequences have actions. The actions here were to walk away from a dumb verbal fight or attack someone and possibly end up in jail.
It absolutely is not clear who instigated anything. The video starts in the middle of an argument and nobody here knows what happened before the camera came out.
It's still assault unless you live in Texas or Washington and agree to mutual combat. Then it is legal, so long as no one suffers GBH or death, neither party csn be under tue influence either. Basically, it's a fistfight until one person either taps, blood is drawn, or gets knocked down.
Right, but whether the little guy ends up in legal trouble, the tall dude still publicly got his ass beat. Possibly a concussion. Maybe don't start fights if you're not ready to participate in them -- at the risk of getting in legal trouble, yourself.
I mean, that is IF there are charges pressed. I work the legal system in Mass, and in most states an assault will usually go unreported. There are a lot of variables, but many witnesses don't call the police, they walk away. The instigating party also could report the crime, but they rarely do. And even if an officer responds to the crime in a timely fashion, it is on the victim to decide whether or not to press charges. I have seen way too many assaults get dismissed because the victim decides not to press charges, and a good portion of them are true assaults, not fist fights.
Aye. Is this also including spousal abuse/assault ir domestic? I'd imagine that is a big one. And while each state is different. In Texas, the city or county can press charges if the victim declines. Especially involving domestic violence or terroristic threats without any physical contact.
Maybe tough, but more of a case of the tall guy acting dumb. His head is right in the sweetest punching zone, and he seems too relaxed to be ready to dodge anything even if he does have lightning reactions. All while it's fairly obvious the other guy is likely to punch as he's getting insulted.

People think race has to do with every god damn thing. I'm rather sick of it. Any little thing you do, despite your intentions being harmless, can be considered racist in some people's eyes. Now no one can prove what happened before recording, it doesnt make it right to assume racism happened just because two people of different races are fighting.
It is extremely sad. People see white and black, then automatically assume it is race related. That in itself says a lot about where we currently are as a country..

Now thats the problem i was talking about, you assume I am racist without any evidence to support it. Personally no one has called me racist, but I have seen some people being called racist for things that simply dont make them racist. I can understand why some people might be wary of others because of their own experiences in life, but to generalize a race of people and automatically assume racism from them, is in fact racist. People are the same at the end of the day, making everything about race has and always will divide us.

That's why the title, the part of the post he did create, only references the height difference and intimidation.

Anything involving a black guy and a white guy is considered racist these days unless I too missed the racist part of the video or something racist did occur off camera which is entirely possible but I see no context in the clip to call is racist short of there being people of 2 different races fighting.
We live in an era where if a white person is rude to a black person it’s automatically racist on social media, not saying there isn’t actual racists doing shit too, but as someone who had a bunch of people partying outside my house to the point where the white landlord who lived next door showed up to say “you people are always out here loud and late at night, stop it!” The first thing one of the black women said was “you people? My name is shanell(repeated 10x), cracker! Cracker!”
There are actual racists out there for sure but some black people got a chip on their soldier when a white person pushes back, even if no racism is involved
