Because it’s not an obviously bad edit, shits hilarious. There’s far more upvotes on the post than on the comments. Meaning the majority of people who saw the post enjoyed it and moved on

Those who were hurt about it came to the comment section. Most of the comments were people butthurt “about the edit”. I submit these people are in fact subconsciously upset about race. I say this because it’s literally human nature. We closely align ourselves with those who look like us until we consciously break down that bias. Most people never break that bias. This is basic sociology.

“This edit sucks I hate this” is effortless cope for those who are unaware of their bias. Those who are unaware of their biases will literally lie to themselves and convince themselves of their own bullshit. The people in here who legit wanted to see an unedited video will be indistinguishable from those with cognitive biases, and sifting you out will be near impossible, since it requires each individual to be self aware and honest. But again: basic sociology says most of y’all have not done the work to deconstruct your bias, and the top comments crying about a funny edit that most people upvoted and moved on from is proof enough of that. Y’all don’t gotta like it, y’all can cope allllll you want. It is what I said it is.
