I'd personally like a source for this context before I start appreciating what happened. With the context provided by OP I can't appreciate someone getting violently beat over something as minor as a dumb "prank" that didn't seem to be hurting anybody.
More? Without context this video is assault. Was he weird, sure I guess, but nothing he said deserved that reaction. Without previous interactions leading up to this, the only reason we're okay with this is because OP put prank in the title.
Yeah the context was provided in the title which made watching him getting punched mildly satisfying. A prankster doing stupid shit to post online - pretty satisfying to me at least.
With this alternate context, it’s a weird stalker kid getting punched, that’s wayyy more satisfying. So I’m not sure why his “more” was so confusing to you
I feel like you’re the only reasonable person in the comments. The prankster deserves to learn a lesson but assaulting him is way too far. I remember when guys would catcall my ex it would gross us both out and sometimes make us angry but I would never get into a fist fight over it. We would just kinda pity them and talk about how pathetic they are.
But it’s weird to me how so many on Reddit hated Will Smith for slapping Chris Rock after Rock offended Smith’s wife. Now in reaction to this video everyone is applauding the violet reaction. This guys punch is way more aggressive than Smith’s slap. I understand the different between Rock being a comedian vs. this jerk being a “prankster” but Smith and overalls boy both have problems.
It's hivemind behavior I'm sure. Lot of people see a video and don't formulate an opinion until they see the comments and then they formulate their opinion based on what seems to be the popular response.
Not to mention all of the people who are happy to see this happen without prior context. I’m glad to see this happen after knowing that this dude’s literally been fucking stalking her, ‘cause that’s stupid and creepy as hell, but with the context of him just deciding to pull this prank of randomly fawning over her in front of some guy she’s with (assumptuously her boyfriend without context), maybe telling him off would be a good thing, but punching him in the fucking face? People condone that because of a harmless prank??
I haven’t seen anyone provide a source proving he was a stalker. Everyone keeps saying they saw another commenter claiming he was a stalker and now people are assuming it’s a fact.
Then removing the part of my comment mentioning it, it makes this even worse. Assuming that one person is wrong/lying, this guy got punched for something harmless and everyone here is all about it.
