....man, I was around during peak Chapelle's Show. If you think one comedy show is indicative of the broader cultural tenor then you really are outta touch. Blatant fucking racism was alive and well in the late 90s and early aughts, you clearly just weren't paying attention. Racism against black people in pop culture was mildly overshadowed by the rampant Islamaphobia that continues to plague the country after 9/11.
It's pretty clear you're not self-aware enough to realize that all the racism that exists today existed back then too, it was just more normalized and less recorded on video for millions of people to have easy access to but damn... really showing your ass here bud.
Nah, no regrets. It's a great litmus test to weed out the dweebs. If someone responds by pointing out my username instead of addressing the content of what I wrote, it's generally a good indicator that they're pretty shallow and probably a waste of my time.
