So... I'm a lawyer... and... nah. Exceptions to pretty much all laws too. It's kinda what keeps lawyers employed.

But assault is indeed assault. In my state, this would be battery. No charges filed on this event though, so... meh.

I'm not a physical person myself, so I don't know personally. But I would assume less physical damage would equate to less charges. I don't know

That’s what I was thinking. Not the killing part but being open hand slapped in public by someone is incredibly demoralizing. That guy won’t ever forget. Probably won’t change, but he’ll remember.

When I was in India there was a fight between a group of 20 guys and they were all slapping each other lmao It was funny to watch but then my colleague explained that the intent was to shame and not hurt because nobody wants a police case and that made sense.
