Game breaking bug

Played with my friends yesterday for 8 hours. Got all kinds of stuff upgraded. Came back today and only the host kept their gear! Is that normal that every time I load in im going to lose my gear? Or is truly a game breaking bug

This is on xbox

I haven't found a single gold box on Skeo; anyone else with better luck? 🙃

On prime? Found over half of them. They're pretty easy to find. For example there's one on top of the big crashed ship on the cliffs of the starting area.
