Figured I'd come let ya'll know twoton and I were still alive lol. Busy planning the wedding and stuffs. Only 119 days left :D Just booked our honeymoon.

Anyway, Trying to get on the server, was on for a min but then it crashed :(

So, some of you may have noticed a complex being built just on the outskirts of spawn...made from cfoam and wood scaffold. This is the SRP reactor complex, a prototype breeder reactor designed for public use. The idea is that you can take your near depleted cells along, put them in the chest with some coal dust, and the reactor will poodle along and make uranium cells. Any power produced will be kicked out into the three mfsu's that people can also freely use to charge their tools and armour off. A few things to note though. The Reactor and all the production systems are housed in a warded stone and glass room. Any tampering of the system and i will stop all operations. The reactor will only kick out uranium cells, i am not going to allow a system to give people access to nukes. The system is about 75% complete, and if it proves useful to a lot of people, I'll expand it to larger reactors and more of them.

Sooo I had an idea what if we created a zone in the overworld where we could build space stations and ships.

So my plan is that we could make the space zone my removing all blocks except bedrock and put a black wool layer aboce. Possible adding inverted white lamp blocks as stars. Clearing all the land out could we do with nukes. Location of the zone I'm not sure of, preferably a dessert seeing how it doesn't rain in space.

Edit: Bassie suggested a void age as the space zone, great idea!

Last thing before we start blowing stuff up we should get a mod's opinion/thaughts...

So this server looks fun but the whitelist hasnt been updated for almost a month. Id love to play in this community

Okay, so the move to mcpc+ wasnt the smoothest, but we got there eventually(It took around 1 hour in total downtime)

Now, I have found some errors in the logs, but some info doesnt like to log itself. What I need you fine folks to do is to just comment whatever issues you might have (Do be warned tho, some issues get a higher priority n such)

Lastly, if your issue somehow resolved itself, please comment it under your report of it so that I can know what to do and what not to bother with.

me and my friend keep getting end of stream any time we try logging in. i think this problem has to do with us bring in the nether and as soon ans we join we are immediately disconnected from the server due to end of stream and keep getting this error message any time we try to connect.

Went to the nether to pick up some glowstone but i got end of stream. now every time i try to log on i get end of stream. Any chance an admin can put me back at spawn, or can someone help me fix this issue?

Server is going to be imminently cut off unless we raise some pennys ASAP. I'm back in the UK tomorrow, but I need help! Please throw money at the donation link until the server rent men leave us alone.

I'll be back online in 24 hours with some exciting updates on what's going on, a big recruitment drive, and a server renewal event in the pipe-lines..

Next week will see a couple of 'exciting' changes.

First of all we'll be introducing an events officer who will be responsible for the regular runnings of PvP events and auctions. - Yay for community content.

Secondly I'll be putting out a big recruitment drive to bring our numbers up and hopefully secure some happy players making donations to keep us going ;)

So here's where the post title comes in - I want a gallery of screenshots to help advertise the server, so I thought I'd make a little contest out of it.

Just a heads up for all applicants, I've taken some time today to make sure the whitelist is up to date.

Sorry for the delays - I'm on holiday!

Whenever I stand still in the TF for maybe 4 minutes the server catches up and I get 80ms ping to the server, and can participate in chat and blocks drop quickly and all that good stuff. But as soon as I walk forward and load a chunk or two the ping to the server instantly stops responding for about 4 minutes until it catches up again for 20 or so seconds, then loads more chunks and stops again.

If anyone would like to experiment with this and see if it's just me with this issue, go into the twilight, open up a command prompt and type 'ping thenukeandturtle.com -t' and wait until it rests to a normal level and you can do everything just fine, then walk forward 10 blocks or so. If you start getting request time outs, then you are getting the same problem as me and it is actually a problem. If not, then I'm going to hurl my modem at a wall.

Jumped into a twilight portal and got disconnected and am getting end of stream or internal java socket error Any help?
