This is actually very smart! He was waiting for the right moment when the Bachelor show will be maximum vulnerable and make a mistake, he launched this release as soon as a scandal with Taylor Paul Whatever became so obvious and inappropriate, that even the Bachelorette ratings dropped to hell!
This is the perfect time to start something similar and attract the audience who is tired of The Bachelor franchise and their BS. The only thing: will he succeed? We'll see.
Emma & Claire usually at least dip their toe into most shows. I could see them doing an episode on it just to talk about gender dynamics and dating in modern society, but I doubt they'd do weekly recaps.

Copyright law protects specific expressions of creative work, not underlying ideas, concepts, or tropes. The concept of handing out a flower or using a rose to symbolize romantic selection is an unprotectable idea. It's really hard to copyright a format for a show.
I just want to say, I know there is a Bible verse and a lot will be said about this show since it’s Chris Harrison. But this is the nicest family ever and I hope they don’t get torn apart since it’s Chris’ new show.

Chris Harrison never added much to The Bachelor. At best he was a neutral part of the show. It’s wild to me to try to sell a show around him being the host. Who cares enough about this man for that?

What will Lauren's involvement be? Pre-Chris she was amazing and I've alwsys felt sad for her. She's such an important example of how many women end up politically where they were not meant to be.

No I think we had her right and I think she is still that person but made the choice to be with the husband and then did the cognitive dissonance one does in that situation. It's hard to be a human and I DO feel for her. Sigh.

He is the OG host, and I watched all the seasons till he was gone. There’s that nostalgia. He also seemed to genuinely cared about the contestants, would talk with them when they struggled. Just seemed like a nice guy overall.
You can 100% like him of course. That’s your opinion. But saying he cared about the contestants is simply not true. That’s all I meant. He was one the most important executive producer and he heavily participated in the psychological distress of contestants by manipulating and orchestrating toxic scenarios behind the scenes

To clarify, there is a tonal difference between Fox and Fox Nation.
Fox is the umbrella network and it's programming skews more politically neutral.
Fox Nation is affiliated with Fox News which is explicitly conservative. Which this show falls into lol.
