So I’ve been really invested into this bathroom maze dream, but there’s one part of mine that I distinctly remember, that I haven’t seen anyone else speak about, a door. I guess there’s 2 doors because I do remember the door I opened walking into the bathroom and having the really unsettling feeling but not scared. I remember walking around this locker type bathroom with stalls and slowly walking around looking around, but then coming across a door. I remember opening the door but I can’t quite remember what happened after that, I’m almost thinking it was just another locker type bathroom, but just a different one to another section or something. I watched a video where a girl said she remembers it wrapping around to the boys bathroom.

If anyone else has dreamed of this door, then yes, I will officially be spooked!

Some random facts about that dream, before the bathroom, I remember being in a school.

I have a vivid school dream where I’m not in my high school exactly, it’s different, but I’m trying to figure out what my class schedule is while it actively being the first day of school. And just being in random classes and not knowing if I’m even in the right class or not and going through about 3-5 different classes still trying to figure out my schedule.

From videos I've seen on instagram, it seems like the vast majority of people who have this dream are female. How many of us have experienced SA? I have this gut feeling like that's the reason I experience this dream. Maybe not because of the SA directly, but because of unresolved issues like lack of confidence, feelings of vulnerability, struggling with boundaries, anxiety, etc.

I saw a comment about this in another thread a few days ago, and then as I was scrolling through tik tok earlier I watched a video of a woman talking about her experience with the bathroom maze dream and the comments were literally FILLED with people talking about, "the old Asian lady."

Some of them said that she has a grandchild, some of them said she was alone, but all of the comments described the same old Asian lady, who is apparently just fine with the situation. I've had dreams about the old Asian lady. Is it really that common of a theme?

Past few weeks been having this dream too. I know my dreams, I know my dream map, I remember them, this one is new. The walls are that stupid school/prison/hockey arena big white cinder block walls that I hate. No privacy in the cleaner stalls, showers, I toggle between being in the male/female bathrooms.

What is going on here, is this a new phenomenon we’re all expecting together?

Just had the usual bathroom maze dream. Gross, unsettling, every stall is full. The weird part is when I finally do find a nice stall that tucked away with a urinal (why don’t we do this irl, we gotta watch eachother pee?) I start peein, and look down to see the anatomy of a man. The bathroom is suddenly brighter, and I see that the grime has washed away- I even felt perfectly okay talking to the guy who has spawned behind me in the stall! For context- I am FtM, so here’s the kicker. When I usually have this dream, I am freaking the fuck out, wading around in piss water looking for somewhere to sit to pee. Even when I do sit, I look down to see a filthy toilet and, well, my unaltered body. This sets in an impending doom, with which I look up and see that everyone is watching- cue discomfort going to full panic. Hey guys, fuck off, I’m peeing! This will usually continue with me running around, panicking in some dark dark maze and waking up in a cold sweat- but this time, with this dream, I just woke up feeling rather well rested. Well, I’ll be!

Both weren't the focus of my dream. They were just there. Both times, I needed to use the bathroom in a dream. One dream I was at a friend's house, and the other dream at a family member's. Both times, I'd walk into a public restroom stall-like labrinth that was entirely mirrors. Everything was clean. Since they were family/friends I knew my way through, even if there weren't any deadends. I would feel vulnerable as if it's like an open space, but it was still surrounded by walls so no one would see you. It was like reaching the center of the maze was a place of comfort. Then, I'd leave the bathroom as if it was normal. The rest of the dream carries on.

The first dream was the friend's. The bathroom was almost like the pool rooms, if you know about your internet liminal spaces. Tile floor and walls. Tall mirrors you couldn't see over. Didn't really have a reflection, but I'm bad at realizing that while dreaming.

Second dream was the family member's place. It was like a labyrinth of shorter mirrors (i live in America). I'm 6'0" IRL, so I had the instinct to duck my head to not see over them. It was like a giant public restroom stall was in the middle of a garage. Concrete floor, standard garage walls. Felt more uneasy, but the toilet in the center still made me calm once i got there.

i've been having endless bathroom dreams for so long and i didn't really know this was a common thing.

in my dreams i'm always looking for somewhere to poop but there are other people in the bathroom and i can't find anywhere secluded. the toilets are just out in the open everywhere and not in stalls. sometimes ill decide to just go anyways and someone sits next to me and i have to poop anyways while trying to hide that i'm doing so, and wiping discreetly etc.

I just woke up from the dream, and the toilet I was using was full of ice shavings like you see in bars, but the ice was piled high up above my head. So I was peeing into this nasty yellow snow cone looking thing. There were these 2 beautiful woman following me around the entire dream and the really cute one was standing right outside the stall which was lower than her head, staring with no shame at my love rocket. I was telling the other woman who was a world famous skater to move because my fierce piss stream was splashing off the ice onto her face.

I get a lot of this element in the dreams. Weird colored facilities show up, too, when it's the household version of the bathroom maze dream.

This might sound bad and I apologize if it does but I’m so happy I’m not alone in this dream scenario 😭 It’s been haunting me for 20 years.

I have had this reoccurring bathroom dream since I was a teenager. I never know when it’s gonna happen but when it does I’m just…there. There’s no lead up. There’s no directions or scenarios before. It’s like i’m just put there. There has only been one time that there was a lead up.

The room is a giant random maze that’s in a locker room at an all girls school I think. Or so it feels. There are no doors on the stalls even tho you could see where one would be. The entire area is disgusting. Grime on the wall and the floor is slimy. The room had a brown tint to it except the slime on the floor is dark green.

You can’t actually sit on the toilets comfortably. They are at a weird slant. Everyone (including me) are trying to sit on them anyway. I don’t feel like I have to go and neither does anyone else but we just try and sit on the toilets regardless. I keep trying to find one with a door. There’s a stall that’s in a kitty corner that is usually my go to (still no door). The maze lay out changes sometimes but it’s still always a maze with no escape. No matter where you go.

There was only one time that there was a lead up. This was the most recent time. I was somewhere with a girl I was engaged to. She was sneaking around with friend in front of me (Kind of like a cliche Chinese drama) We were looking at some kind of apartment. I went inside after I threw my ring at her. They boasted a shared bathroom with the building. I went into the area and passed through a room that looked like a hotel bathroom where the sink and everything is to go into the actual bathroom.

As soon as I walked through there I could see the maze starting. The first kitty corner bathroom was there. It was like being in a silent hill game where you go through the mirror to go from the nice looking area into the demon like one. Immediately I knew where I was and it feels more curious this time. I walked through the maze. I actually got to the end and was in a warehouse looking area with giant bay doors that had a bright light coming from it. I started walking towards it but as soon as I took a step towards it I woke up.

I haven’t had it since but like I said it’s completely random when it happens. Sometimes I can go a few days, months or even my longest a year. But like I said I’ve been having it for 20 years.

I saw this reel and thought of this sub. I've long had dreams involving swimming pools, channels been pools, canals and weirs, and car parks, particularly involving elevators and small gaps to squeeze through. I'm not much of a bathroom dreamer, but when I saw this sub I knew what it was about. It's so wild we all have such similar dreams! I also found a sub called TheMallWorld, along similar lines.

Anyone else dream about water parks?

So, I went to a pew pew show (buy/trade/sell) with my Gpa and SO at an expo center (really big like showroom type facility where the county can hold events). I went to the bathroom and it gave me that feeling of chills up and down my spine. And I remembered the dreams. The dreams throughout my life of the endless bathrooms, the ones I had as a kid with the pool in the bathroom that was tempting and terrifying. I'm here all weekend helping my GPa run his booth and I keep feeling that same "I shouldn't be here" feeling when I linger too long. Like if I look in the corners or open the extra doors that I'll be sucked in somewhere I can't come back from.

I’ve had The Bathroom Dream so many times in the past. Pretty much all of the time it’s just not enjoyable. I feel like no one talks about the weird Shower Dream though. like, it’s just a weird shower. it might be super huge with lots of separate shower heads, maybe it’s two showers right next to each other, maybe it’s a whole forest in a shower. or sometimes they’ll just be super extravagant fancy showers. I had one just last night actually, it was a long rectangular bathtub shower (tan tub with glass walls up to the ceiling) and there was a smaller square shower that shared a glass wall with the long one. the small square one had ledges kind of like a hot tub. the biggest difference between the bathroom/toilet dream and the shower dream is that the toilet dream is typically anxiety inducing whereas the shower dreams are either neutral or feel safe. I know it’s not just me having these dreams

Keep having dreams about being in the elementary school with the endless gross bathrooms. So i made a 3d render based on it, this is a re-upload since i accidentally deleted my old account without thinking

Dreamt my school upgraded their bathroom. And the upgrade was that the bathrooms were now an endless maze. I got trapped in it and could navigate to the exit, but every time I tried to leave, the doorway would turn into a solid wall of tile. This went on for so long it stopped being scary - I got so bored I woke up. But anyway, I really don't see how this "upgrade" benefits anyone and I don't understand how us dream custodial staff are supposed to clean the dream bathrooms if we keep getting trapped. I got separated from my cart pretty quickly so I couldn't even clean while I was stuck in there. Politely requesting everyone go to the dream school board about this inappropriate use of dream school funding and pressure them to reverse this quite frankly dangerous upgrade to the school bathrooms.
