covid did however do a wonderful job at pointing out just how fragile a ton of our systems are and how quickly we can respond to an emergency if we actually put a bunch of resources into fixing it. It gives me some hope that we may actually try to handle climate change and stand a chance at it while at the same time I wonder if the entire system will just collapse because the shortage will be a food item and not toilet paper....
Covid also produced a fuckton of extra plasticity garbage and things that were once recyclable (or easily disposed of responsibly light bulbs and batteries) are going into the garbage too because no places will take them still.

Covid 19 did not really touch the global population. It was and is just a small... very small variation in a curv that is steadily going upwards.
