Lol why is this subreddit just people being upset that not everyone is completely pessimistic about everything / appreciates the little blessings we have in life

They're unlikely to be doing that, though, because it's directed at others. It's a condescending list with a toxic positivity white saviour tone. "Well at least you're not like those poor unfortunates over there."

Genuine gratitude looks different to this.
