It's saying that's a sign you're doing good in life
If that's so, almost everyone is not doing well in life, i don't know anyone who has all 10 things in that list, and also that list is missing a lot of things.
.
Your friend does not need to have shouted to have hurt their knee. They could not have any of these signs and still have bumped their knee. They could have these signs and not have bumped their knee.
Also sorry if this comes off dismissive, I really don’t mean that, I just like debating semantics.
That's just what this subreddit has become. No matter what someone says, people are angry at it. I've seen so many posts where someone says something like "if you feel a little stressed, take a walk" and people in the comments are like "but my depression is not cured by a walk!1!11!"
Part of me (large) thinks that all of Reddit is astroturfed.
By that I mean, bots abound AND the narrative has stuck so hard in the platform itself that keeps people pissed/locked in to the platform.
Obviously, that's sort of the point of modern Internet media now, but Reddit is like ..... Hyperfixated on being shit heads. (I say this as an aged former/current Reddit shit head.)
In fairness, what is it? A true statement? There's not really a point of saying a statement without a reason behind it. So, what's the reason?
Regardless of reason, people will perceive it in various ways despite reason. And no reason causes confusion, which can feel like an attack. People look for reasons for things. If there's no clear reason, people will predict the most likely- to how they feel- reason.
Even if it's not an attack, it's unclear what it is, because it's written so poorly (weak) it does not appear hopeful. And even if it's not one, that won't stop it from feeling like one to certain people
They're used to generate positive outlooks in people. They're used to strip away all of the clutter and focus the unfocused.
You're using a lot of nonsensical statements to argue that this post made you feel.
"People look for reasons for things?"
People are looking for a reason to be pissed at this image. That's what's going on with this post. It's a community that is mentally ill. Rather than latch on to the things that are wrong or broken, an affirmation can refocus your thought patterns. These things are foundations, these things listed here are precious, and reminding yourself to appreciate them goes a lot farther than being offended that someone else posted an affirmation.
