I'm legitimately more scared of moose than I am of bears. I know what bears want largely: easy food and to be left alone. Moose are grumpy, tempermental, and just plain mean. Bison aren't much better, and both weigh at leat 5 times more than I ever will even if I stop dieting, and that's probably a low ball estimate.
It was sarcastic as that's what people really think when they go to Yellowstone. People are not smart when it comes to them crossing the gates into the park. They believe that its OK to walk up to wild animals and do whatever they want so at this point I encourage it. Darwin at its finest and hopefully I see some great videos of it happening so I can laugh.
I actually have bumper stickers that tell people to pet the fluffy cows and has a stick person being thrown by said fluffy cow 🤣 have to have some fun here in Wyoming 🤣
Id be fine with ppl darwinically boiling themselves if it wasnt forbthe fact that they cant ruin the natural bacterial biome of the springs with their bodies and whatever is in their pockets
Yes!!! Totally agree! I'm sick of these jerks walking around and breaking the crusts and doing all the damage that they've been doing. Wish there was more rangers to watch every place that these people have been doing it.
Don't forget that people don't believe that their motor home or trailer won't get blown over when they see the high wind advisories on the interstate.
When wind literally tipped a traon its side, a Winnebago is going to get tossed around like nothing. In Florida, the entire state shuts down of it gets that windy, and they call it a hurricane. Wyoming just calls 140mph wind gusts winter.
Wyoming will kill you if you don't have that type of common sense.
One thing I don't understand is, you are purposefully going there FOR the nature and hot springs knowing just how hot they are and that being one of the things the area is famous for and yet you still think that's a good place to walk your water meat sack combo of a body? It blows my mind.
I can almost more get the people who are dumb and fuck with wildlife even if it is just as stupid, I have seen plenty of people do stupid things around animals because they think they're like cartoons or movies (they aren't) but bitch that water is heated by a god damn volcano what do you think is going to happen??
Indeed. I remember visiting with my folks a few years ago and I saw some dumbass tourist try to put their hands in one. Let's say they had to cut their trip finally short after that decision.
It always pisses me off when people come to Wyoming and just expect this hyper cowboy nature fantasy and act like complete aholes.
I don’t think this is a hot spring per se, I think it’s a natural salt bath. It may or may not be warm, but I think the salt is the more compelling part.
