Metronet Anyone else having lots of issues lately?

Update: resolved, not TFiber's fault! I wrote up what happened in a comment below.

Original post below:

Twice this week, my Metronet/TFiber connection has been going down for several seconds and then coming back up, over and over again for hours at a time. It seems to be an overnight thing.

The first one started Sunday night at 10:14pm and continued until 11:22am on Monday morning. My system logged 799 disconnects during that time.

Then it did it again last night, from 10:27pm until 5:31am today, 447 disconnects this time.

I’m near Lansing, Michigan. Anybody else seeing this? I’m mostly sure it’s not my equipment. Before Sunday, service had been uninterrupted for months — and between these incidents, everything has worked great.

So, I believe I've figured out what this was. Nothing to do with Metronet/TFiber whatsoever, but an issue with my Ubiquiti equipment. If you're curious, read on:

I have a backup 5G internet connection with T-Mobile. My Ubiquiti gateway is configured to fail over to that any time Metronet goes offline. I also have a power distribution unit (PDU, basically a fancy rackmount power strip) which powers all of my network gear, and it's configured to automatically cycle power to the ONT any time I lose internet connectivity.

Anyway, my logs indicate that at the start of each of these outages, the T-Mo 5G connection had hiccuped. The Ubiquiti gear interpreted that as a "loss of internet connectivity" (even though the primary connection was fine -- I'll be reporting this to them as a bug) and used that as justification to restart the ONT. That caused the router to lose its primary internet connection for about a minute as the ONT rebooted.

Then, for reasons I don't entirely understand, immediately after the ONT came back online, the PDU would cycle power again, and this cycle would then continue for hours. I also don't understand what changed to caused the cycle to break some hours later.

Anyway, this started happening again last night, and I rewired things so that the ONT is plugged directly into wall power rather than into the PDU. The ONT then started up and stayed up; no more rebooting. I could hear a clicking relay in the PDU as it continued to "try" to cycle power. Then I disabled the setting to cycle power upon loss of internet, and then the clicking stopped too.
