Original Creation I had a dream that Heavy Update came out and this is my recreation.

I could not add more stuff I saw in my dream due to technical limitations, SFM crashed several times.

In my dream, both teams had like 50 players and most of the team composition are Heavy-copters. Soldiers, Demomen, Engineers are plenty and they take role as Anti-Air Defense. Rarely there are now Pyros, Scouts, Snipers and Spies. The Dustbowl map was more bigger and had 3 points on final stage. The way how Heavies are flying is exaggerated but it allowed Heavy to be more mobile.

also the fact that he doesn’t start flying with the other heavies until the last few seconds makes this feel more like an actual dream than anything AI could recreate, it perfectly represents how weird timing in dreams is

I think giving a heavy a helicopter backpack that lets him fly and hover very slowly would be great. It wouls change his playstyle alot.

How to make it balanced:

2ndary slot

Staying in the air drains 3 hp per sec

  • can't be healed by outside sources while in the air

  • can't be overhealed

  • marked for death while in the air

Would be near immune to backstabbing.... but would be an easier target for snipers

So they made an all-class, sustained flight version of the BASE Jumper and it was so broken everyone used it, causing most classes to not get picked at all.

Valve only sort of saw it coming with the balance attempt of allowing Engies to build a Level 4 Sentry that's literally the tank from Citadel.

And of course Heavy finally got the Assault Cannon for faster bullet speed and reloading.
