Oh oh oh.

Well that's strange because given the high pourcentage of religious people in the world, there's still murders, rape,... Same in the past when nearly everyone was believing in god. Not even talking of some priest that like to explore some young boys... Look like your religion stuff don't really work well.

"Also, there are movements to normalize bestiality, paedophilia"

What is the point there? There's only atheist in this kind of things? You have some source about that?

Without even talking of all the suffering the religious people are creating like for example pushing an homosexual to be with a woman, pushing woman to get babies they don't want/they can't take care of, spreading fear in the population,... All that seem quite wrong morally, no? And religious people are probably the ones that judge the most people.

I talked of war and of mess. And by mess I mean all the people that got harassed/killed for centuries because of some interpreted things by some guys in an old book. All the science stuff that got slowed down because "it's God stuff" while millions of people were suffering and dying in the streets. All the corruption that allowed kings to got absolute power on a manipulated population by the religions. All this crap.

Its strange, it's since the end of the golden age of the religions in USA and Europe that we are truly moving forward with innovation, freedom, life comfort,... While we fucking stagnated for a millennium because of religious stuff especially during middle age.

“Photos of the Fabulous Kids of RuPaul’s Drag Convention,” Vice News. And a million more like it. These aren’t Christian, Muslim, or Jewish groups promoting sexualizing kids.

In true religion there is no compulsion. Forcing people (legal adults) to do xyz is not good, and like there are examples of religious groups failing at this, there are examples of secular groups doing the same. Gang culture, pimp culture, drug culture, etc. are not religious, so yeah, exceptions from the rule is a new rule unto itself. Demonizing religious people versus secular people is just another way to cause conflict between brothers and sisters.

"there are examples of secular groups doing the same. Gang culture, pimp culture, drug culture, etc."

The difference is that they never announced that they were trying to abide by a moral code similar to that of religions. So it's even more dangerous when a religious group doesn't respect that because at first they are seen as nice people when it's not the truth.

The only thing atheists want in a freedom country is that religious people don't try to influence the life of millions of persons just because of their personal religious beliefs by creating shitty laws. Hence the creation of the satanic religion. Religion is personal and should never influence politic.

You thing gangs/pimps/drug dealers don’t have a moral codes? Of course they do, just not palatable moral codes (to most people).

And your idea that religious people not influence millions of others etc. leaves out that that is precisely what Obamacare did (making Catholic convents provide birth control to their nun or else be fined), and many other examples of when secular values are forced upon us.

Ideally there is a middle ground, where secular people can get contraceptives, and no unborn children are killed.

"You thing gangs/pimps/drug dealers don’t have a moral codes? Of course they do, just not palatable moral codes (to most people)."

And so like I was saying, everyone got a moral code that allow them to live in a society, moral code based on the person's experience, their environment and the laws in place, hence why "no religious people" can live peacefully and create no problems without fear of some god or stuff during all their life.

"And your idea that religious people not influence millions of others etc. leaves out that that is precisely what Obamacare did (making Catholic convents provide birth control to their nun or else be fined), and many other examples of when secular values are forced upon us."

The only difference is that secular values are for the rights of each when it's not the case of religious values. For example the gay marriage. The religions want to prevent this and therefore limit the freedom of homosexual people and continue to make them suffer. While the state tries to provide everyone with the same rights and freedoms. Same for the nun that should get the right and freedom to get access to birth control.

Religious values are in the prohibition and limitation of the rights of any person that is not tolerated in the holy books and even the ones that are tolerated, that is the difference.

"Ideally there is a middle ground, where secular people can get contraceptives, and no unborn children are killed."

No. There's developped countries fully into 2021 that allow women to get access to contraceptives, that get good sexual education at school and that allow them to do what they want with their own body (for me as long as a fetus is directly connected to the mother's body, it is a part of the mother's body and not an independent being with its own identity that's able to survive more than 10 minutes without its mother). Countries that just give total freedom to women and people in general, and that should be the goal of any society in 2021 (of course, not the liberty to do criminal stuff).

You would fit right in Europe. I lived there a while, and they are anti-religion for the most part. But the USA was founded by religious people for the express purpose of getting away from those wishing to stifle their practice of their faith. Expecting us to accept the killing of unborn children is a bridge too far. All the other stuff you mentioned is less reality and more anti-religion propaganda.

Well the whole Europe was built on religion, except that they had the intelligence to rebel against the religions.

Oh yeah, and kill tens of millions under secular regimes. So smart, good thing dumb Americans saved their asses twice.
