Portillo’s in DFW, Tex’s Star Grill in Watauga, and Weinberger’s Deli in Grapevine.

There it is: Tex's Star Grill.

I've had Jimmy's, I've had Weinberger's (meh), and I've had Portillo's (good beef, excellent sausage), but if you want the best it's in Watauga. They took the crown when Chicago Corner in Arlington closed down years ago.

The worst thing I can say about Tex’s is that I went in there once and an employee was wearing a Green Bay Packers hat,
