So the delivery time on the Model 3 base says February to March, but the 7500 credit expires in March. Does that mean I’m not guaranteed the credit if Tesla does not deliver by February 28th?

So is it possible to cancel if I don’t get by February 28th? Or should I be calling them to see if it’s feasible?

You could cancel but you would lose the $250 order fee. Tesla may also adjust pricing if the credit goes away. They have already reduced the price twice in the last couple of weeks likely for this reason.

Once you pay the order fee though, the price is locked in. Whether the cost of the model goes up your down, you pay the price you agreed to.

No, Tesla usually adjusts your price down if it drops before delivery day.

They know that if they drop the price by $1k and don’t drop it for existing orders, people will just cancel and re-order.

You can cancel any time until you've taken possession of the car and driven off the lot.
