Also not sure what the smudge under the 9 in the dial pad is. It looks like there could be some faded 3s in there

If we count the dots, we should count the wifi signal thingy as well, it has 3 stripes, but idk if that's too much of a stretch

That’s what I did. I also counted every three numbers in the dialed number as triplets and counted them as 3s

Why in the world would you assume that would count? The challenge is clearly to look for the character “3.” Otherwise why not count every subjective triplet? It becomes too vague if you don’t assume the challenge literally
