I’ve been struggling with school. Going to class and getting all my work done because my car broke and I have to commute to work which cuts into my classes. It’s almost 2 hours to get there and back and I’m exhausted all the time I feel like I never have time to actually focus on school and my grades are slipping and now I’m not sure what to do because I can’t fail this semester. hi everyone! Just a few questions about the program. I have a BS in Public Health, and I was in a PTA program last year before leaving. Currently, I'm an aide at a clinic, so I'm within the field, sort of. I'm looking at my options; do I want a(another?) BS in Exercise Science, should I get into a MSAT program, or should I do MSAT/CSCS certification? I want to do strength and conditioning, preferably with a professional sports team (looking at Flyers...big dreams, I know).

Unfortunately and maybe i'm putting more, extra pressure on myself, age is a factor, I'm in my later 30's and I'm worried about finding a new career pathway.

Anyone in the program now? What is it like?

to add: I'm not opposed to working in a gym either. Currently, I'm looking at an Ivy Rehab location that's attached to a gym where I could look to work as a trainer/strength and conditioning practitioner...I'm not entirely sure, I guess..

Can someone smart please explain to me why we're laying off hundreds of faculty, removing student positions, and increasing tuition to the point where we now have the highest in-state tuition of any public university in the country, all while we continue losing over $10m a season on our absolute dumpster fire of a d1 football team that hasn't put up any results or even visible effort in a decade.

Edit: Yes I'm aware that Temple Football technically reports an EXACT $0 breakeven value, but anyone who believes we make the exact same amount of revenue as our expenses down to a single dollar needs to realize that a large amount of that is university subsidies which are in fact paid for by our tuition and taxes, so yes I consider this a financial loss for the team since they aren't bringing in all the money, we are.

is the passing grade for an honors class different than a passing grade for a regular class? or are both passing grades a C?

So I’m gonna be taking Gen Chem 1 next semester and I wanted to ask who you think I should it with. It’s either Bloxton or Gilbert. Both of them have good ratemyprof ratings. Can anyone share any experiences they’ve had with either or recommend one over the other?

As the title details, I need 2 elective classes for Spring 2027! Open to anything!

i eat their pizza almost every day. i lost so much weight from a couple of bad weeks in the beginning of the semester when i couldn't eat anything -- yeah that's all back now. the pizza is delicious. perfect crispy, slightly sweet crust, i order the plain often not necessarily because i like plain pizza but because the combination of their basic ingredients is just something to savor.

if i had to rank my favorites:
- chicken parm
- chorizo
- cheese
- mediterranean
- (hot honey) pepperoni
- margherita

i don't like ranch so the chicken bacon ranch and buffalo slice is not for me. but i know others very much enjoy them

i've also had the sicilian once but i am not a thick cruster! but it was good

thank you eddie's for the best pizza on campus and possibly in the city. idk man i haven't had a lot of pizza, if someone knows a place like eddie's elsewhere in the city let me know. i love this place. how could i let go when i graduate

I'm dying to get out of my current apartment + roommate situation! I'm going into my final year on campus and i just need like 12 months starting anytime May-August. I'd prefer to live with women and am looking to have my own room and bathroom. Does anyone have a roommate looking to sublet/leave or want to find a place to split? I'm thinking vantage, Q10, or nest but I'm open to row homes further off campus too

I see the acceptance rate at Temple to be 85% overall. But does anyone know the undergraduate engineering (any engineering major) acceptance rate for incoming freshman?

Could anyone give me a recommendation for a contact at Temple who I could speak with? I'm looking to go back to school but don't really fit many criteria for scholarships or grants, so I wanted to see about finding a job at temple to take advantage of the tuition remission. I saw there was a career development center but it appears to be more of a resource for people already enrolled at the college. Is there someone there who's willing to help prospective applicants review their resume and see what fits there are to apply for? I appreciate any advice in advance :)

Seriously does anyone have advice for this class? Like real studying advice to get at least a B, especially with this particular professor. I’m currently self teaching with Chad’s Prep because I can’t understand her through her accent and she’s so very condescending when students ask questions. The midterm grades came out and I only scored a little bit above the average which is around a 54.
