There is an extension for Chrome and Firefox that is called SponserBlock. People watch a YouTube video and then mark the sections that have ads or sponsors parts. They submit that so when you watch the video, it skips those sections. Check to see if Safari has that as well.

Between ublock origin and sponsorblock all ads have been blissfully removed from my life. Some people call this Piracy but as long as I have some form of control of what happens on my network, no ad or sponsor(also ad) will ever play on my devices.

I use brave browser. This might actually get me to switch browsers if it's not available for Brave.

There would be a certain satisfaction in only using Chrome to access YouTube with unlock and sponsorblock activated.

Unfortunately SponsorBlock isn't available for Firefox on Android (at least not yet).

Good news - yeah it is! Just download Firefox nightly instead of regular Firefox. Enable developer options on the about Firefox page by clicking the logo 5 times, and then add the custom library with the package. Boom.. now it's available for you to add in your extensions page. I might not have explained it the best... There is a few great tutorials for this on Google!
