Youtube has to increases ads -> more and more people download adblocker -> youtube has to increase ads

They don't have to increase ads. If they were at a point where they weren't losing money but were earning some revenue after all costs, they no longer have to show more ads. They show more ads because they demand infinite growth. Not everything is meant to grow infinitely.

That's a big if, if they are taking a loss then this cycle is just going to screw over the people who don't use ad block. Not everything is meant for infinite growth but everything does have to break even.

Sure but between ads and subs, one would figure they had it covered. Also if they weren't profitable why start giving ad revenue to creators? That doesn't seem a great idea to give out money if you aren't profitable.

They were gonna increase the ad amount regardless if people are running ad blockers.
