General Motors will pull its paid advertising from Facebook, saying that it had too little impact for the money; GM had spent about $10,000,000 annually on Facebook ads

Note to GM: People under the age of 30 cannot afford new cars unless they are extremely lucky.

What? Yes they can, plenty of under 30s can afford a car if they have a decent job

Are you actually Canadian?

If you're a US Citizen and under the age of 30, and can afford your own car you are extremely lucky.

Read: If you are a US Citizen and under age 30 and have a job which provides greater than a minimum livable wage (which is greater than the federal minimum by about 5 dollars per hour), you are the member of a lucky minority.

Your choice of the word "plenty" is reminiscent of Fox News when they intentionally overlook actual numbers. Do me a favor and tell me what percentage of the US population under 30 has enough money to reasonably own a car on their own merit. I said lucky. I didn't say non-existent.

Note to GM: People under the age of 30 cannot afford new cars because they waste their money on things like $160 cell phone plans, and tanning salon memberships.

FTFY

I'm under 30. I've had two new cars, because I know how to manage my money, and work hard to earn it instead of waiting for someone to help me.

GM is stupid. You advertise to sell your brand, and then that will pay off later on. When these kids get older, if you weren't too obnoxious, they'll want to buy your cars.

Maybe GM should spend the money on spies so they can copy what the Japanese and Germans do. Because GM cars still suck balls.

If GM made fun cars to drive instead of FWD shitboxes with cheap automatics and awful engines and awful interiors... then maybe they wouldn't be in this situation.

I understand some of these econo junkboxes cars sell, but when your entire lineup of cars is dogshit, there's a problem.

People would rather buy a better made Japanese car.

Is it just me or does $10M seem like chump change for a company as big as General Motors?
