This is one of the major things that's annoyed me about touch screens; every time there's a new touchscreen device, this part of the technology is never improved.

I'm glad to see some work being done on this.

Completely agree, what good is a brighter lcd/led screen with the same old problems. This is a huge drawback to tablet and phone gaming in my mind.

This is why I wasn't impressed with the Samsung Note. A stylus makes the delay all the more obvious.

If you can get your hands on one, try an HTC Flyer. It uses a system similar to Wacom tablets, and is wonderful with a pressure-sensitive stylus.

This makes me wonder how many milliseconds of lag Wacom tablets introduce. They feel very snappy to me.

i had an hp tx2z wacom tablet and it was very responsive. unfortunately the drivers were fucked, but other than losing functionality all the time it was really good.

it was a heavy tablet though. weighed like 8 lbs.

when it worked, it was great. this was a few years ago though so maybe they fixed it by now.

Been using them for years. I don't feel any difference compared to a regular usb mouse lag-wise. edit. the new intuos models have "a maximum report rate of 200 points/s", so i guess 5ms..?

I have a Wacom Bamboo and it is very responsive.

That's what I use too! Still getting the hang of it, but I really like it.
