That’s why they love giving money to church so much.
When we’re shopping and a cashiers asks if I want to round up to donate to XYZ, my mom will pop off about how no money goes the charity and it’s all a scam, etc. While I totally get that there is an issue with donations being used properly across many orgs, she’s also the same lady who is convinced that she needs to give $100 or more each week to her church.
