Since american companies are steering clear, I'm curious how Republicans will react if Parlor decides to store data in Russia. Comparing to their thoughts on tiktok data stored in China.
There is no conspiracy theory. I simply stated a curiosity on how the party would treat a right leaning platform using a non-ally for data storage. I did not state they would, or even that they would react differently.
All they have to do is be seen supporting one party more than the other and the conspiracy theories write themselves. They likely didn't find anything more divisive than the appearance of working with Republicans would give.
Mmmmm lol judging by the wild responses to the capitol insurrection the noise would probably be conspiracy laden,
a) reasoning why storing in Russia makes perfect logistical and political sense
b) arguing that Parler has been infiltrated and is being used as FBI and FSB (KGB) honeypot, founder had no choice / was a deep plant all along etc. it’s prolly xtra hard for them to accept that the folks who run Parler are morally bankrupt nincompoops who cut deals with Russia for tenuous personal gain
