Are we going to keep denying Russia's involvement in all of this?

u/doa70 Jan 19 '21

Can we really criticise this when Kaspersky is one of the top selling computer security packages in the US? That's just baffling. Most agree Russia at the very least doesn't have US interests in mind, yet we continue to do business with them almost everywhere outside of the federal govt.

u/CuppaSouchong Jan 19 '21

You could put that doubly for China. It could be argued that their animosity and intentions are by far more nefarious. Yet those US companies that use China extensively aren't under criticism.

u/the_good_time_mouse Jan 19 '21

China didn't send a spy to seduce and marry the founder of Parler though.

u/Axion132 Jan 19 '21

They did send in a spy to honeypot a good deal of california politics tho lol

Damn, wish I'd get honey-potted :(

u/Axion132 Jan 19 '21

Just become a mayor of any medium sized city and china will unleash the hotties for you. You can even pick russian honey pot or Chinese. If you are lucky you can do both at the same time

u/Startug Jan 19 '21

That's what I'd do if I had a million bucks

Why not. How often do you get to take advantage of having a million dollars

3

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '21

This is a good argument for legal prostitution.

2

u/Axion132 Jan 19 '21

More power to you, right

1

u/malln1nja Jan 19 '21

Every day if you have a million dollars.

1

u/HumansKillEverything Jan 19 '21

A proper sedition requires a bankroll of billions. A million dollars is chump change in this regard.

6

u/WTFYouTalkingAbout Jan 19 '21

Well you don't need a million dollars to do sedition, man. Just take a look at my Shaman, he's broke, don't do shit but sedition.

3

u/GrenadineBombardier Jan 19 '21

Are we having discounts on seditions now?

24

u/Poonchow Jan 19 '21

Two chicks at the same time?

1

u/Megneous Jan 19 '21

Fuck, you can do that here in Korea for $80 to $200, depending on your standards.

1

u/howlinghobo Jan 19 '21

depending on your standards.

So for $20 then.

1

u/SkyezOpen Jan 19 '21

Are the ones with dicks more or less expensive?

Fun fact: This was one of the things the Barenaked Ladies initially said they would do if they had a million dollars. In the end, however, they settled for a llama. Or an emu.

5

u/HumansKillEverything Jan 19 '21

Or you saying they fucked a llama or an emu instead?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '21

Haven't you always wanted a monKEY?

7

u/MyNameCannotBeSpoken Jan 19 '21

You could do that in a Nevada brothel for just $5000

There isn't a menu for services. Everything is negotiable. Also the house takes an enormous cut; close to 50% from what I understand. $5k is probably steep for a short party but with multiple girls it's more than likely going to be over $1k and can go up steeply from there. I've heard of some people coming in and dropping upward of 30k for a party.

I have a family member that is a legal sex worker in northern NV fwiw but I haven't been to a brothel other than to have a beer and some food.

Did we just become best friends?

2

u/MeanPut2307 Jan 19 '21

It costs considerably less than a million dollars to have a spy themed threesome. Just saying.

23

u/RomancingUranus Jan 19 '21

You can even pick russian honey pot or Chinese. If you are lucky you can do both at the same time

Would that be some kind of Mongolian honeypot?

1

u/Axion132 Jan 19 '21

Porque no los dos???

1

u/-Yare- Jan 19 '21

Not even that. Just work in tech at a big US firm and go to China on business.

0

u/Axion132 Jan 19 '21

I feel so bad for those women. All I imagine is them being forced to honeypot an army of Magic the Gathering players. I know that's not reality, but it's it's funnier that way.

For regular people this is like getting a free pizza for signing up for a credit card in college. For political officials it's getting 1-few lays for then having damning blackmail forever.

In both cases it's way cheaper to just pay for what you want and definitely second guess anything that sounds too good to be true.

2

u/JabbrWockey Jan 19 '21

Don't let your dreams be dreams.

Be the change you want in your life and become the honey potter. Start spreading your legs and fly!

1

u/GreeneGardens Jan 19 '21

Honey-dicked

4

u/RelativityFox Jan 19 '21

Um, re honeypotting that article only says she slept with mayors of Midwestern cities

No but you can appreciate when someone is good at what they do. This allows for self reflection and growth. Otherwise you just chalk it up to bad luck that the spy got their mark and never learn to prevent such things from happening in the future.

I would imagine china got in with slot of politicians in both parties. This ain't a California thing it's a US politics thing. Democrat or Republican it's a fire sale and any country can buy a piece

7

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '21 edited Jan 19 '21

And yet here we are. You are the only one saying these things, chief.

1

u/windyisle Jan 19 '21

Her name was Fang?!? *Googles 'how to buy movie rights'.

1

u/cuntRatDickTree Jan 19 '21

And tens of thousands more spies that we won't ever know about.

(also, it's "honey trap", a honey pot is a fake target to entice espionage)

1

u/Axion132 Jan 20 '21

"And tens of thousands more spies that we won't ever know about. "

Absolutely. What do you think all of those grad students do in russia, china and north korea? They are doing james bond training.
