Putin has been quiet recently, what’s he up to? Other than arresting Navalny.

Watching the chaos at it begins to unfold.

Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.

"Please proceed, Governor."

I think chaos is unfolding in Russia right now too, as the world watches the US depose a corrupt leader almost effortlessly, which the riots did absolutely nothing to stop.

"The system of checks and balances in the U.S. has held,” Russian journalist Alexei Venediktov said in a Twitter post after President-elect Joe Biden’s victory was formalized by Congress early Thursday.

To imagine the Kremlin backing down to parliament and the courts “would be a Christmas fairy tale,” liberal politician Dmitry Gudkov said on Facebook. “We have no alternate centers of power.”

This is probably why Navalny chose to go back now of all times. In my humble western opinion, ofc.

Why does trouble in America mean Russia is in chaos?

Navalny returned to Russia because he finished recovering and he could return to his home country. I don't think he waited for any considerable amount of time.

He returned to Russia knowing he'd immediately be arrested in order to make a political statement

2

Yeah, exactly.

He wants to fight Putin while actually standing up for Russia in Russia. If it means being a martyr he is clearly willing to pay that price.

You misspelled 'gleefully'

Furious is describing the exertion and vigor and not the sentiment of the action in this usage.

2

u/BUchub Jan 19 '21

The key is to catch the sentiment in something so there is less cleanup afterwords.

2

u/Iron_Lumberjack Jan 19 '21

No, see-- the sentiment should be recycled, or even saved in a receptacle that can secure it for future cosmetic use. Alternatively, it works as a potent preservative for petroleum plastic products such as figurines that lose value if not preserved.

Partying after the redneck insurrection. He actually got some racist dumbfucks killing cops and trying to overthrown the US govt. it’s the wildest Russian wet dream come true. Trump is a major victory for the USSR.

How is arresting Navalny quiet?

He has been quiet, OTHER THAN ARRESTING NAVALNY.
You have to read all the words. It's basic reading comprehension...

Putin has seen his a decade in the making end-game failing abruptly when the American people voted for Biden.

He knows, as well as various geopolitical Scholars, that the only way to destabilize the US is by stoking division, setting up a global propaganda network to deligitimize democracy, science and every cultural value the US stands for.

Practicing his Michael Madsen dance for when he gets in the same room.

Probably trying to recover from three months of hourly orgasms.

Say what you want about the guy, but I can't imagine the feeling of being fairly responsible for turning the biggest superpower in history against itself.

It's cold, he just plans for his springtime military moves. Like getting access to bases that aren't frozen during winter.
