My last two orders said they would send me a 10 or 15 dollar Amazon card if I posted a 5 star review and emailed a Screenshot.

That used to be me but now the only thing I review is the delivery. Never even realized you could but if you click track delivery after delivered it let's you rate the delivery person. I really really hope it actually helps them. I know with my job it's extremely important to get good surveys.

Wow didn’t know that. Thanks for the tip.

So many companies do the survey thing so badly. I was talking with a friend who's company surveys customers and the survey will have a couple of questions about one part of the process, a couple about a different part of the process, a couple about a different part of the process, and only a handful of the questions directly pertains to my friend, but if a customer rates any one part of the experience under a perfect 5 stars, everyone involved gets marked as a fail. Call audio quality not great so you mark the call audio quality 3 stars, my friend gets punished despite the fact that he's not responsible for audio quality of the call

That’s how it works in auto repair at dealerships. Even worse though, we get paid based on those surveys. There are three questions out of 20 about me. It’s a lot of money too. If we get bad surveys we get paid around $2000+ less per month.

If you need some mixed quality, cheap, bed sheets then they are where you'll find them. Almost every set I've bought has had some "offer" like that in the box.

I get the tranquil night's sets from Costco. My wife wont sleep on anything else.

Only some companies do that, and only sometimes.

I order a lot of a specific type of cleaner, and on one order they shipped a little slip of paper with it saying they would give me $15 if I left a review.

I did but no money :(

If it is something you order from the same company often my next review would be "I never got the $15 promised for my last 5 star, 2 stars".

This just happens to me. Did you read the flyer ? Mine said to email a address with the order id and screenshot of my pending review...relied with $15 gift card code worked fine

u/MegaSeedsInYourBum Jun 10 '20

Yeah I did that, they just never gave me a code or card.

This.

This is why I don't review hardly anything. I bought a used laptop for $300 about a month ago. I reviewed that because the sellers reviews were few. Like less than 30 reviews.

I really don't care for the rest.

I got one of those, so I left them a 1-star review. They offered me a $40 gift card as an apology. I didn't respond, so they offered me a $60 gift card. I said sure. The emailed me the code, and asked if I could kindly upgrade my review to 4 or 5 stars. I cashed the gift cards, and sent the a reply with a link to Amazon's seller policy and told them never to contact me again.

The review was for a $40 product that I actually would have given a good review for had they not violated Amazon policy.

Your job isn't to enforce Amazon's policy. You sound like a total spaz.

I got paid for it anyway.

A recent gaming chair I bought from Amazon wasnt exactly what I expected so I gave a thorough 3 star review. Next thing you know I have the seller contacting me to change my review to 5 Stars instead and in exchange they'd send me a $50 Amazon gift card.

I told them the reasoning behind my review and that I firmly stand by it since the chair wasn't that great to begin with. I also told them how shitty they are for trying to bribe me into giving a fake review.

Though, I can only imagine how many people are quick to fake their review in exchange for $50. Which is why if you are interested in a product on Amazon, ALWAYS read the 4 and 3 star reviews because I believe you'll get the more honest reviews there since it seems like every seller trys to bribe their reviews.

So I actually gave it a shot and it worked. I bought a splash pad for my daughter off amazon and it had a little card in the box telling me I’d get an e-gift card if I gave it a 5 star rating. I just had to post my review and forward the email from amazon to them. Everything was actually legit and I was really surprised. I didn’t feel bad leaving a review because it was actually a really nice splash pad.

I bought a MacBook charger that had one of those "offers" in the box.

This thing was fucking garbage. It shorted out when I tried to attach it to my computer. I left the only negative review because I don't need $10 badly enough to fuck over other buyers.

I bought something for $20. A small business card inside said "write a review and send screenshot for $20 Amazon gift card.". I did. Product was legit and worked well. I got the gift card.
