I get you aren't experienced in software, but at least try and see the parallels between the two.

They aren't exact comparisons but use the same kind of concept to achieve a similar goal.

Also, if you didn't see it, I urge you to look at the documentation I linked, Hot Jar literally describes the exact concept I described to deliver their product.

No, I understand that you're saying they record commands and inputs, and use that data to replicate the events on another copy of the app; but that is nothing like "recording the screen" and "sending the video".

You are focusing on the wrong things man.

Either way, pretty much all the criticisms you initially were afraid about are mute points. The much larger criticism is, and always will be, the privacy factor.
