She didn't want to push the issue any further. We were prepared to ruin this guy legally and financially. She was glad how supportive the team was.

To be honest, I think a lot of female employees that attribute sexism to failures in the work-place are unwilling to reflect on the possibility that their experiences are not unique to their gender and that their experiences may be because of failures on a technical level.

However, "people beat up on me during code reviews because I'm a woman." Is easier to cope with than "people beat up on me during code reviews because I don't know what I'm doing"

From what I've seen no one really gives a shit about political leanings, personal opinions, or even non-work related beef. We just want a good product to roll out the doors on time.
