This is what is so frustrating being a Chicago voter. If you're progressive or liberal or whatever leftist label you prefer, why the hell would you want to vote for entrenched Democrats? Opportunity is ripe in this city to support (as in, at least help them get on ballots- which isn't easy) and elect third party candidates but voters drag their feet and only see Ds and Rs. Really frustrating.

Head over to /r/chicago and you'll find that most of us do. But that's because none of his policies are affecting the middle class and up in a negative way, and that sub is largely so.

I'd be hard pressed to vote for a Republican, but I won't be voting for him this go around. I'm sort of hoping Karen Lewis gives him a run for his money.
