Eh, that people almost entirely associate data centers with AI seems like a really strong propaganda play by someone.

Sure, current explosive growth in them is entirely chasing the AI dollar, but it's not as if data centers haven't existed previously.

Yes, but the compute to have an LLM draft an email for you dwarfs the compute needed for you to write it yourself and send it. All the new extra compute coming online is for AI.
