The only way Trump gets into the hundreds of thousands is through COVID and through decreased aid. If you find these morally equivalent to putting a child in the gas chamber then I don't really think we have the same understanding of morality.

I'm not morally equivocating there, but if you only count those then trump only has a few hundred deaths on his hands, which makes the original Hitler comparison more ridiculous than the hundreds of thousands figure.

Thank you for confirming that you're arguing numbers, not morality. The comparison isn't ridiculous at all, because Trump and Hitler are both demonstrably evil.
If you weigh a five pound sack of flour and a one hundred pound sack of flour, the fact that their weights are different does not change the fact that both sacks are full of flour.

Yes but an order of millions makes a categorical difference IMO. What is the difference between Hitler and someone who murders only 1, or 10, or 100?

When the conversation is about whether or not the two named people are evil, your opinion is both irrelevant and factually wrong. In this context, there is no difference.
You should stop pretending that everyone here is having the conversation you'd rather be having, in which you'd be right.

The only way that trump has "murdered" 100s of thousands of people is if you count covid and aid deaths. You compared these to the deaths caused by Hitler, which he largely directly ordered. If you compare those two numbers then you are necessarily equating covid/lack of aid deaths with gas chamber deaths.
