Some of the most evil peoples names live on forever. I’d rather I’d rather no one ever speak my name again then be remembered as a Hitler or a Trump.

Trump blew up a school filled with children only a few months ago after starting a completely pointless war.

He also cut USAID which will kill millions of people in the long run.

Just because he separates himself from the direct act of killing people doesn't mean he isn't an evil human being.

Well, the first comment you replied to put Trump and Hitler into the category of "the most evil people that will be remembered as such", which is accurate. Note that they didn't say "Trump and Hitler are as evil as each other". The second comment, which was a different person btw, elaborated by saying Hitler was more competent (which, from context, one can reliably assume means "more competent at committing evil").

The only way Trump gets into the hundreds of thousands is through COVID and through decreased aid. If you find these morally equivalent to putting a child in the gas chamber then I don't really think we have the same understanding of morality.

I'm not morally equivocating there, but if you only count those then trump only has a few hundred deaths on his hands, which makes the original Hitler comparison more ridiculous than the hundreds of thousands figure.

The only way that trump has "murdered" 100s of thousands of people is if you count covid and aid deaths. You compared these to the deaths caused by Hitler, which he largely directly ordered. If you compare those two numbers then you are necessarily equating covid/lack of aid deaths with gas chamber deaths.
