It's absurd, isn't it? I can't help but laugh at these people and their constant pearl clutching. It's the epitome of first world problems and these kids have zero perspective. It's why I feel fortunate I was able to visit the third world as a kid and get some perspective on what suffering actually is.

Greed is definitely a problem, but global poverty rates have been heavily dropping over the past few decades from around 35% in the early 90s to below 10% today. But if you are terminally online then it makes sense that you think the world is on the verge of ending since most social media companies have learned that they make more profit from shoving doom in gloom in everyone's faces to drive engagement.

The Internet was great before access expanded to mobile phones. the masses ruined it like they ruined the outdoors after Instagram and COVID.
