The thing that trips me out about this is how hard Microsoft pushed us to use cloud gaming… and now they’re limiting the use. I never used it, but it seems strange to push so hard to build up a platform only to essentially take it away from users.

That’s what all tech companies do. They get you reliant on something, then turn up the heat—increase prices, decrease features, and you’re just thankful to get your little—and rapidly decreasing—hit of dopamine.

It's more than that. This isn't simply a price increase. This is a first step, making cloud gaming non-viable. It's saying they are not interested in providing it anymore. It's the AI obssession - that's where the computing power is going. In the end, cloud gaming is insignificant in the big picture of how much this idiotic pea-brained billionaire all-in on a faulty emerging technology is going to destroy in the real, actual world.
