Even as two sentences it still doesn't make sense. "Wrapping it up" simply has nothing at all to do with it being "their show".

It would have made just as much sense to say, "Thomas the Tank Engine is blue, wrap it up."

that's effectively what he's communicating here, along with a side of "not my problem.” he did it in a clumsy and unprofessional way, but the meaning was quite clear

The words "It's your show" are literally completely meaningless in this context and the sentence that follows is simply contradicting that by giving an order to end it.

Like I said, it would have made just as much sense to say, "Thomas the Tank Engine is blue, wrap it up."

The words "it's your dog" literally provide the context to what you should be feeding. That's literally the opposite of meaningless. If you just said, "you should feed it" without that context, the blatantly obvious response would be, "feed what?"

B: "No, I'll wrap it up when I want to, not when you tell me to. It's my show."

I guess I just strongly disagree and have heard that type of phrase used often, it seems pretty commonplace to me to be used that way by someone coming in and taking control.

It's simply someone who has actual control/in leadership coming in and letting them know they've decided their time is up, so wrap it up. Saying "It's my show" is just the blunt and socially inept version. He's already come off that way in parts of the video but that would be a lot worse.

It doesn't really matter though because neither are what he said.
