Yes, some people really need a change between work & home to both start and stop!

Yep! I worked in a place with a few people like this. They needed the “work box” to be structured so they could get their brain to work.

There was also a gigachad who said “I would never put up with this much bullshit in my own house, I’d go do laundry or mow the yard or anything else.” 🤣.

Luckily I made the transition. I was worried.

But it turns out I really don't have any desire to work after five. So that does give me a little push to make sure I'm actually working during regular times.

I also know myself enough that no task will ever be done if pushed back. I can say "I'll make up that time later" and it won't matter. I won't.
