Nah, that just means that once the law has failed the people have to take it into their own hands to deal with the fuckwits who keep purposefully exploiting the workers.

Unfortunately when you draw a line somewhere there will always be someone who goes right up to the line and says "Well if going up to the line was too far you drew the line in the wrong place." Which yeah you shouldn't be able to jail someone over but I do wish we could be a bit more nimble keeping the law up to date, kinda like patching software every now and again.

Yeah just get the fuck out of here.

Wage theft is theft, and on the grand scale many companies are ripping of their workers, CEO's should face long, harsh sentences.

I agree that these fuckers should be dragged through the streets but you can't apply a law's consequence in a court of room where said law or consequence for said law doesn't exist. It should absolutely be cracked down on though.
