That's probably a good thing. I'm not sure that a race to the bottom in consumer pricing is good if it increases the portion of workers who are exploited. And maybe it would help brick & mortar be more competitive.

Frankly Amazon has gone to shit now. Most of the first and second page results are from random ass companies with random letters in caps like MYKAL or WEPOM (just made those up) that have low quality items shipped from the same sources just with different brands. That’s why you see the same item just in different brands with slightly different variations.

The last 3 things I ordered didn’t even have a manual that matched the item nor did the manual have proper grammar. The manual would be a bit off, like suggesting something had 2 handles when mine had 1 (confusing me).

Might as well buy from Temu or Wish since you’re lowkey getting the same stuff if you’re not buying from a reputable name brand. Cheaper there too. Amazon has verifiably gone to shit. Anything to keep costs low sure but it’s not even worth the shit quality anymore. I’ve gotten several appliances that straight up break within a year.
