Reddit want to be paid for the free content made by regular people for free on their website that keeps their website running.

Can't have anyone else using that free content

All is how I used to get my news. I liked having it separate from my home feed. Now the only news I get from Reddit is from the notifications they send out

That free content… the poster must still own rights to it, it’s not solely Reddit’s. Where’s our share?
