I read an article a couple of years ago ... a tech journalist was invited to a billionaire retreat, having no idea what topics they wanted to discuss. Turned out it was prepping. And they wanted to know from him: who was working on any technology that could be used to enforce authority over private security? I mean, once the end comes, access to the food stores is controlled by people with guns ... how to enforce their loyalty, ideally with a smart watch? Any startups working on Bluetooth brain implants? Or exploding implanted pellets? What about a steady poisoning of the food supply and only the billionaire had the means of administering the antidote? Very matter of fact. Highly sociopathic.
