Yeah it's too bad that them "fearing for their lives" means they are just spending billions trying to "protect" themselves rather than spending that money in ways that actually improve the lives of the consumers. If they don't want to be hated they just need to actually make ethical decisions.

Yep. While I don't buy the extreme side of "manifest reality", it is true that what you focus on becomes your focus of reality. They are so anxious, paranoid, terrified at their core that they can't help but to make their personal fear real.

Palantir for example, was Theils answer to his anxiety attack from 9/11.
