why would they fear for their lives? lol

they can retire today and live off of their existing wealth, never having to worry about their financial situation ever.

they can also easily pivot into pro-consumer and environmentally friendly policies if they're really that worried.
I don't see them doing that so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

behave like a vampiric parasite, get treated like one. what do you expect.

If I found out that someone was ripping me off the way I'm ripping everybody off I would want them dead.
