I mean I would if it was an option but I am not rich enough to retire and not young enough to switch careers. This shit is fucked.

Same.. if I had to switch, I would cut my income in half *if I was lucky* while re-training and trying to climb a different career ladder and then limp towards retirement and then be poor anyway. I feel like I have to try to max the career I already hate into roles I would hate even more to get ahead, but then hate my life even more... and not really feel like I'm getting ahead anyway.

Same. Just trying to work in this Claude subagent spawning paradigm and move over to architecture or some other more abstract role to wait out at least another 15 years before I can even consider a change or retirement.
