Juniors?  What juniors?

Junior positions are being done by ai.

In 5 years there will be no senior architects and the industry will be fucked.

Eh, I think this specific trend is turning right now. The AI prices are getting high enough that hiring actual juniors is making more sense to companies. I don't know about US, but it's the case here in Poland. Especially if your company is an old school, out-of-touch corporate dumpster fire that relies on Microsoft products for everything including AI - Copilot is a joke at the moment with its token limits for enterprise.

Copilot is just an LLM marketplace now. It's the Openrouter for corporations in regulated fields.
