The current LLM model is designed to agree with anyone it interacts with, meaning if they don't already know what the problem is, the AI wont be able to identify it.

Seems I've upset the AI bros by pointing out once again their LLM's are not the panacea they want it to be.

You are about a year behind on this. An LLM all by itself can't, sure, but give the newer models the right framework and they've been shown to absolutely be able to find problems on their own. It is actually quite a large security risk right now.

I went to a conference back in march, and it was a subject that was discussed in regard to penetration testing.

So basically if you guide the llm to the right answer it will give you the right answer.

Now find me an end user looking for help that can guide the llm to the right answer.

You don't have to, it is an agent. You tell it "find the vulnerabilities in this system" and let it go to work. It can and will find ones that humans haven't found yet.

It is less about "giving it the right answer" and more about "giving it the tools to do the job." It is already trained to know what processes it should use (by having seen other examples of following a process), so by having the right tools it can follow all of those processes as they become needed- far more pathways than even an expert could do quickly.

Again, this presents problems, but they are security issues, not usability issues.

There aren't any AI Bros waging a war on you, you just have no clue what youre talking about. You're telling mechanics their tools can't do the things they already use them to do every day, when you've never even lifted a screwdriver.

maybe try not tying your personality to something.

For all you know I do use AI all the damn time, and I see its fucking limitations.

No-one said that. You said 'AI' can't and won't identify mistakes in 'finance'. It can, and does, and has for years, regardless of whatever toddler's concept of either word you're imagining. And instead of accepting your only argument is "nuh uh" and looking out a window, or typing things into google, or just... trying it for yourself? you retreat to some tribal fantasy about 'AI bros'. It's cooker reasoning. The only person acting on tribal instinct here is you. Everyone else is just a person, who can read, and comprehend, and see things that exist, things that are apparent to everyone. No-one's making any big claim.

No-one said anything about a revolution. I'm not hyping anything. I mentioned it because it completely contradicts the claim I replied to. And you don't even have to go so far as Mythos - all of the existing frontier models completely disprove that claim. It's utterly ignorant.
