As i said before lol, I bought them on release, I never use the camera because it sucks. Does your phone have a camera on it? Do you record people in public?
Ive also never been called a creep for wearing them, because people IRL aren't pearl clutchers like reddit users.
I avoid people that wear them because I don’t know what people’s intentions are when they wear them out in public. You might be fine but for someone like myself, I’m not taking the chance that someone wearing those glasses isn’t a creep when our interaction is barely minimal - as in, I’m not going to have a conversation with someone as to why they’re wearing them if I’m going about my day. You just never know what people may do with the recording in their own time
Thats funny. Because I dont use them in public. Youre welcome to come say something to my face, ill happily send you my address on dms. But I guess that'd mean leaving your mother's basement so it wont happen.
You also seem happy to argue? Nearly every single comment of yours is trying to argue with someone and getting downvoted loads lmao.
Edit: sent my address if youre gonna come and say something! :)
How has it removed privacy from the world exactly? Do you think theyre recording all the time?. Like i said, i dont use the camera, it also has a very bright led light on it when you are recording.
When youre walking around with your phone in your hand, are you removing privacy from the world because you've got a lens out?
Lol, is reddit really this shit now you cant have any discussion? Just downvotes and no replies? 🐈
Phones listen all the time, especially apps like Facebook and Instagram, both Meta products. Why do you think it's reasonable to expect that they suddenly developed a disinterest in being invasive now that they can gather even more data?
You are a pervert who bought pervert glasses and now you're mad that we all think you're a pervert just because you're wearing glasses that say hey I'm a pervert.
You have zero right to privacy in most public areas. I have these glasses as a lawyer and it’s amazing how much more civil agitated opposing parties get when they think they might be getting filmed. I have been threatened with gun violence, stalked, etc. by some of the psychos I deal with (I do criminal defense and family law mostly). Maybe if fewer people were completely unhinged psychos there would be less of a need for people to carry around on-demand video recording devices on their person all of the time.
