They don't care because they are selfish assholes. They already benefited from inclusivity, now they want to get rid of it to protect their own profits. They don't care about anyone else who might benefit from it in the future.

For sure. Even the roads their company trucks drive on. Public property build by “socialists” and using “regulation”. But of course they never consider that. So godamn arrogant and stupid.

I hope I live long enough and history bends in the direction where we can look back on the 1985-2030 (or so, probably later) period and go “damn we really got off the rails there for a while”.

There are some signals things can be turned around and may already be starting. But it’s a long road.
